Lingfield Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool

Our top tipster with his picks for the popular Tote bet

Deputy betting editor

The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot pool guarantee is at Lingfield and the opening 1m4f apprentice handicap (1.40) looks difficult. Daaris is in good form and is included alongside Green Team.

Division one of the mile maiden (2.12) looks like a match between Big Sip and I’ll Give It A Go so include both, while the second division (2.42) might be a penalty kick for Lunanova.

The 6f handicap (3.12) is a tricky contest because only five run, so just two places are on offer. Rosenpur has a consistent profile away from this track and goes in with Harry Brown.

The Spring Cup (3.42) is next and it’s another where just two places are available. Rebel’s Gamble is one of my best bets of the day, but it’s also worth including the class act Bountiful.

The 7f handicap (4.12) is the final leg and Kitaro Kich still looks well handicapped after his impressive victory at Chelmsford last week. He rates banker material under Tom Marquand.
