WHAT HAPPENED LAST YEAR - RYANAIR CHASE 2024

down

Protektorat, who had finished third and fifth in the previous two Gold Cups, arrived having been beaten on his four starts that season over further but, with the soft ground in his favour, he relished the drop in trip to score convincingly. The previous year’s winner Envoi Allen travelled strongly throughout and held every chance at the last but couldn’t find as much as the winner up the hill.
