WHAT HAPPENED LAST YEAR - MARES CHASE 2024
Ireland have yet to lose a running of this race since it was founded and Limerick Lace was the heroine of their dominance a year ago. Trained by Gavin Cromwell, she denied the 15-8 favourite Dinoblue to give owner JP McManus the first and second in the race and was his third win in the race in a row. Marsh Wren ran a huge race for Britain in third, while Allegorie De Vassy was disappointing.
