Be Aware in the Coral Cup. Dan Skelton is the top dog in handicap hurdles and I get the impression Be Aware has been laser-targeted at this race since his eyecatching second to Burdett Road in the Greatwood in November. That’s an excellent piece of course form and he’ll eat up this extra half-mile.

Can anything stop Constitution Hill in the Champion Hurdle?

Brighterdaysahead can and she’ll surely be heading there rather than the Mares’ Hurdle. Her Grade 1 victory at Leopardstown was one of the most impressive performances I have seen from a mare and I like the fact she’s been freshened up since. I’m unsure whether Constitution Hill is the horse he used to be. We’ll soon find out and it’s fascinating.
